CULC/CBUC Supports Freedom to Read Week

This year the Canadian Urban Libraries Council / Conseil des Bibliothèques Urbaines du Canada (CULC/CBUC) made a special contribution “in honour of the great careers and contributions of Bill Ptacek (Calgary), Rebecca Raven (Brampton), Louise Procter Maio (Richmond Hill), Patricia Enright (Kingston) and Susannah Hubbard Krimmer (London). Great champions of intellectual freedom.”

Freedom to Read Week is February 23–29 2020.

We are THRILLED to announce a new partnership with @penguinrandomca who is providing its entire collection of Canadian-published titles with Canadian audio rights to CELA. Nearly 400 human-narrated titles have already been added to our collection. Enjoy! https://celalibrary.ca/blog/cela-and-penguin-random-house-canada-announce-collaborative-partnership?lang=en
